Girls at Laruche

Friday night was a mutual friend's 21st. So the girls got together and had a blast. The event was held at a cocktail bar with NO DANCEFLOOR! of course that didn't stop us.. we had half the bottom floor dancing with us, the energy we had was so contagious, the people walking into the bar were dancing :P

Introducing Kourtney Kardashian.

Ask anyone i know, and they'll tell you I'm OBSESSED with the Kardashians. Not really because i look up to them (but Rob's hot), but because they're funny to watch on reality TV. Kim's ultra boring, and has been plagued by surgery so she's no fun. But i love her older sister, Chanel loving Kourtney Kardashian. Her sense of style is so fresh & glamourous. Her stylist is Monica Rose - she's amazing.

Anyway, a lot of the clothes and looks I pull off, are very Kourtney Kardashian <3 Love BMK X

Grunge - The Seattle Sound

Grunge - (AKA, The Seattle Sound) is a sub-genre of alternative rock that has transmitted it's edgy vibe into fashion. I love it. I lurve these Matiko studded loafers. Carly does too! So because it's so damn jizzworthy, it's gonna end up in one of our wardrobes really soon. I saw them on solestruck.com, and we'll be ordering it from there.

soul-jering on at GOMA brisbane, for the MJ expo :)

I saw a young Michael Jackson's face (from the Beat It stage i think), plastered on the back doors of a taxi which had pulled up at a red light in Brisbane's CBD. I skipped a little faster to get a glimpse of what it was all about. Turns out there was an exhibition at the Gallery of Modern Art (GOMA) showcasing the behind the scenes make-up and styling photographs of the Thriller music video. It was remarkable to say the least.

The intricacy of his music, dance moves & fashion sense was exquisite, the story of his life would give anyone the license to dream, but he was someone who was victimized for being different. Amongst the riches and the fame and the undeniable talent, he knew that being different wasn't easy. Not only did he preach about making a change, he practiced, and made a difference by being a philanthropist who gave away more than USD$300 million dollars to various foundations. And it's that kind of difference, that will always Thrill the World.
